Lady Barbara Quashigah, a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning high-level relationship management, commodities, international trade, and entrepreneurship.
With her roots in a family of historical significance in African politics, Lady Barbara has leveraged her extensive knowledge and experience to navigate the intricate landscape of political actors to achieve several strategic objectives. She has spearheaded initiatives in food and beverage production and she has also excelled in commodity trading and hospitality management.
Currently serving as the Managing Partner of Nexus FTC Ltd, her consulting practice has extended her influence into business development and capital raising across multiple African countries, including Ghana, Nigeria, DRC, Kenya.
She holds an MBA in Leadership from Lancaster University -UK and a degree in Fashion, Marketing, from the American Intercontinental University -UK. Beyond her professional endeavors, Lady Barbara is deeply committed to giving back to society.
Her foundation "BAAQ Initiatives" empowers women to take up entrepreneurial initiatives as well as support children and young adults in skill training, nutrition and health. She also volunteers her time and expertise on various Boards and Committees, including the African- Jewish Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Agric Business, Grow for me Ghana, Ghana Armed Forces Children's Association, Africa Organic Institute Advisory, and Ghana India Trading Advisory Chamber.
