Pastor Emmanuel Mustapha

Emmanuel Mustapha was born August 21st 1960. He was raised in the Islamic faith, and it was not until December 9th 1991 that he came to know Jesus Christ as his Savior. He was working as a truck driver, but changed careers. He enrolled in Kairos Bible Institute, and took classes from 1993 to 1995. In 1995 he began planting churches in the Somanya Area of southern Ghana. He planted and pastored 5 churches. In 1996 he enrolled in the Ghana Baptist Theological Seminary. Upon graduating in 1999 he and his wife Felicia were called to serve as Home Missionaries in the Upper west region of Ghana. Their ministry, based in Wa. While serving there he planted 45 churches, trained 25 leaders, and founded Wa Yiri Children’s Home, which ministered to 18 children. They established a 25 acre cashew farm, and a transport ministry to help to finance the work in Wa. In 2005 Muss and Felicia moved their family to Yendi, in the Northern Region of Ghana. They established the North Eastern Mission Field, which to date has planted over 1,000 churches and trained over 2,000 church leaders. The ministry has expanded. In 2010 they partnered with the Togo Baptist Convention to plant churches and train leaders, so far they have planted 100 and are in the process of training 65 leaders. In 2012 the ministry expanded into Benin, so far 16 churches have been planted, and 5 leaders are being trained for the Benin Baptist Convention.2012 Muss by his leadership launched GLOBAL MISSIONS RESOURCE CENTER, which is now working in 13 different country in West Africa and Brazil from Yendi. they curently have missionaries in Togo, Navrongo and Accra Muss founded the Ghana Baptist School of Ministry, which graduated its first class of 25 ministers 3 years ago all of whom are serving as leaders on the North Eastern Mission Field.

In 2008 he founded the North Eastern Christian Academy. The school began with just a handful of students, and over the past seven years has grown to more than 900 students. He also serves as the representative for Fusion Australia, in West Africa. Through Fusion, he found a hostel and Youth Development Center in Yendi. He now also serves as the Virginia Baptist Ambassador in West Africa, and the ground person for the Project "More Than Net" Muss just launched West Africa Church planting Movement, with a vision of planting 2000 Churches Across West Africa by 2029.
